We are a process analytical consulting company and analytical testing laboratory with over 40 years of experience in the field of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy ("NMR") applied to the petroleum, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical and food industries. Established in 1997, our analytical testing service now supports the activities of over 300 businesses. We specialize particularly in the application of high resolution NMR spectroscopy to on-line applications in the refining, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries. These applications enable real- time control and optimization of production plant processes that lead to cost savings for the customer. The on-line NMR and combined process analytical solutions are marketed through our JV engineering company NMR Process Systems LLC. We also market time-domain NMR systems from Resonance Systems Ltd for use in quality control or online analysis of manufacturing processes. These systems can be custom designed and built to meet your sample requirements. NMR components are also sold separately. Laboratory Analysis - Summary: Analytical NMR analysis is performed on 200 and 300 MHz Varian NMR spectrometers: Solid-State NMR analysis (magic angle spinning (MAS) on ¹³C, ²⁹Si, ³¹P, ²⁷Al, ⁷Li, ¹¹⁹Sn,etc). Multinuclear liquid-state NMR - 5mm/10mm/20mm broad band probes, multinuclear and multi-dimensional NMR analysis. Most ¹H NMR analysis is performed with same day or next day turnaround. TD-NMR analysis is performed on ¹H and high receptivity nuclei (²⁷Al, ²³Na, ³¹P) using a Spin Track NMR spectrometer equipped with multiple magnets allowing varying sample volumes to be analyzed at different magnetic fields. Process NMR analysis is performed on two Qualion 60 MHz NMR spectrometers. Simulated distillation analysis is performed on a Shimadzu 2010 GC and FTIR-ATR analysis is performed on a Smiths Detection spectrometer equipped with a heated ATR accessory. All data is delivered electronically and quality assurance information is provided upon request. All data acquisition and data analysis is performed by Ph.D. chemists with decades of specialized NMR experience.
