NMR Specialist 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Education: Ph.D in Chemistry with a basic
understanding of Process Chemistry and/or Chemical Engineering.
Experience: 10 years. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal
and technical writing skills and experience in Project Management.
Skills in training scientists and developing training programs are
important as candidate will be involved in training young scientists and
technicians. Previous experience in GLP is preferred. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate is expected to: 1. Develop
methods to support ongoing research in fuels and catalysis with novel
and advanced analytical methods. 2. Experience in Molecular Spectroscopy
both solid and liquid states. 3. Experience in a wide range of
analytical methodology applied to the petroleum and petrochemical
industry is required. 4. The candidate will be responsible for training
and mentoring young scientists. 

The assignment is to support ongoing research in fuels and catalysts
with novel and advanced analytical methods. The candidate must be an
experienced researcher with a strong academic background and petroleum
industry experience. Will provide basic and applied research services
and initiate research studies. Should have hands on experience with
various analytical tools in qualitative and quantitative modes. Will
provide technical consultation and guidance to company operations.
